What is HohCampus?

The name "HohCampus" stands for the project "Introduction of Integrated Campus Management" at the University of Hohenheim.

The term "campus management" covers all processes throughout the student life cycle.

This project will introduce integrated campus management software to provide information technology support for these processes. In parallel, the processes are developed within the organization.

The introduction of a new campus management system is one of the most complex projects within a university, as it affects almost all areas of the organization and thus generates both a high need for coordination and organizational development within the university. In addition, a campus management system must interact with numerous other administrative and campus systems. This means that the underlying software system must be integrated into the existing infrastructure.

The "HohCampus" project focuses on the following processes:

  • Application and admission
  • Enrollment
  • Student management
  • Degree program management
  • Course management
  • Exam management
  • Room booking management
  • Exmatriculation
